  3. . tools/devmode, if feeling adventurous
  4. check compilation, check tinderbox screens
  5. Update BUGS, NEWS file
  6. Update AUTHORS if new members
  7. Update configure.in and package.def with version
  8. Run svn2cl (get from http://ch.tudelft.nl/~arthur/svn2cl):
  9. svn2cl.sh --break-before-msg --reparagraph -i http://nagiosplug.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/nagiosplug/nagiosplug/trunk
  10. commit BUGS NEWS configure.in package.def ChangeLog

  13. checkout new version:
  14. cd /tmp
  15. rm -fr nagiosplug
  16. svn export http://nagiosplug.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/nagiosplug/nagiosplug/tags/release-1.4.10 nagiosplug
  17. cd nagiosplug
  18. tools/setup
  19. ./configure
  20. make dist
  21. sftp upload.sf.net
  22. cd uploads
  23. put file
  24. SF -> Submit News about release. Make sure it is called "Nagios Plugins" (with those caps)
  25. Link to download at http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=29880
  26. Include contents of NEWS for this release
  27. List all people on team involved.
  28. Add acknowledgement to contributors
  29. Submit. Get URL to news item
  30. SF -> Admin -> File Releases
  31. Add a release to nagiosplug and create a file release
  32. Name: 1.4.1
  33. Create release
  34. Step 1: Add release notes pointing to news item
  35. Step 2: add file
  36. Step 3: *.tar.gz, Platform Independent, Source .gz
  37. Step 4: Send notice
  38. Send email to nagiosplug-help, nagios-announce with the news text
  39. Add a news item to http://nagiosplugins.org
