  35. .SH NAME
  36. .P
  37. cmap_dispatch \- Dispatches callbacks from the CMAP service
  38. .SH SYNOPSIS
  39. .P
  40. \fB#include <corosync/cmap.h>\fR
  41. .P
  42. \fBcs_error_t
  43. cmap_dispatch (cmap_handle_t \fIhandle\fB, cs_dispatch_flags_t \fIdispatch_types\fB);\fR
  44. .SH DESCRIPTION
  45. The
  46. .B cmap_dispatch
  47. function is used to dispatch configuration changes.
  48. .PP
  49. Each application may have several connections to the CMAP API. Each application
  50. uses the
  51. .I handle
  52. argument to uniquely identify the connection.
  53. .PP
  54. The
  55. .I dispatch_types
  56. argument is used to identify the type of dispatch to execute. The possible types are
  57. CS_DISPATCH_ONE, CS_DISPATCH_ALL and CS_DISPATCH_BLOCKING.
  58. The dispatch values have the following meanings:
  59. .TP
  60. .B CS_DISPATCH_ONE
  61. Dispatch at least one callback, blocking until the callback is dispatched.
  62. .TP
  63. .B CS_DISPATCH_ALL
  64. Dispatch all waiting callbacks without blocking to wait for any callbacks.
  65. .TP
  66. .B CS_DISPATCH_BLOCKING
  67. Dispatch all callbacks blocking indefinitely. This is used in a threaded
  68. program where a thread is created, and then cs_dispatch() is called immediately
  69. from the created thread to execute callbacks.
  70. .TP
  71. .B CS_DISPATCH_ONE_NONBLOCKING
  72. Dispatch at most one callback. If there is no pending callback,
  73. CS_ERR_TRY_AGAIN is returned.
  74. .PP
  75. It's needed to call
  76. .B cmap_track_add(3)
  77. to add tracked items and receive callbacks.
  78. .SH RETURN VALUE
  79. .P
  80. This call returns the CS_OK value if successful, otherwise an error is returned.
  81. .SH "SEE ALSO"

  83. .BR cmap_track_delete (3),
